ACE Quality Control is a division of Allerion Consulting Group, Inc., created to unify Quality Control Management with geotechnical, environmental, special inspection, materials testing, and laboratory testing services throughout Northern California.
Our origin goes back to 2005, when Robert L. Williams founded AC&S Materials Testing to meet critical Quality Control and materials testing needs from Northern California to the Oregon border. AC&S began with three employees and grew by delivering on commitments consistently, transparently, and with field-ready solutions. In 2015, Robert stepped down from his leadership role while continuing to support the company in a semi-retired capacity through technical guidance and project support. He passed away in 2023, and his standard of disciplined quality remains part of how we work.
Today, our platform has grown to more than 50 professionals, built to reduce risk, protect compliance, and keep schedules intact. We focus on outcomes: verified performance, clear documentation, and fast issue resolution when conditions change. Clients hires us for oversight, clarity, accountability, and predictable delivery. We bring the right people, the right processes, and the urgency clients expect. Bottom line: we make quality control a controllable variable, not a last-minute scramble.
